Designer/Drafter for an anticipated position supporting a construction effort in the country of Qatar. The selected candidate will coordinate design development with other designers, engineering staff and customers. Develop civil, structural, mechanical designs in accordance with requirements documents. Prepare CAD drawings and illustrations in accordance with customer format requirements and drawing standards. The work location for this position is on the Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB) in Qatar. May visit job sites and make preliminary layouts to check critical design problems, and/or to re-check problem areas. Provide drawings that incorporate drafting manual standards and procedures, architectural standards, and other national standards as required. Check complex drawings for technical accuracy, errors and completeness.
